Making a Difference One Person at a Time

Current Activities

Sojourners United has started two Spring-Summer Trips

Karla is in Southern Sudan.  She is teaming up with Chazek Rescue and Answering the Call.  They are journeying by foot to three remote villages near the conflict zones to provide medical help.  She is expected there until 22 May.

Eric is in Northern Iraq.  He will be there until 4 August.  He is working to refocus their efforts in Iraq, helping those that have been sheltered in their house to be able to secure their own housing, while strengthening relationships with other churches and organizations there.

Who and How We Help

The Displaced

There over 90 million people displaced world-wide, of which Iraq has over 5 million Syria has over 17 million, and Ukraine over 14 million.  These people have lost their home, their jobs, and many have lost at least one family member.  Daunting as these numbers are, differences can be made one individual at a time, hope can be shared, love shown with actions.

Disaster & Crisis Relief

SU operates and globally focuses its resources on individuals in crisis, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender and age.  We use volunteers to serve in areas of affliction by coordinating and carrying out the distribution of food, water, clothing, shelter, and medical aid.

Unite Program

SU directly cares for individuals and also looks for opportunities to work with and train locals so that they can better deal with situations.  As such, SU seeks to become a catalyst for uniting, equipping, training, and assisting individuals and organizations.
